One The Same

Today everyone judges,

everyone wants to be the best,

they don't care what happens to others,

as long as they are where they are at.

I see people hurt every single day,

fighting and pushing to find their way,

wondering if they will make it,

and wishing they could be one in the same.

I wish I could shout it out and tell them it will be all right,

that their lives are worth so much more than what it seems,

I want them to know that someone loves them,

no matter what they do or what they look like.

I want the world to accept them for who they are,

they are worth something too,

they aren't just a doormat to wipe your feet on,

or a garbage to throw out your trash.

Imagine yourself in their shoes for once,

how would you feel,

if someone was doing the same to you.

So I pray that one day,

No matter what race,

or color,

or personality,

we will all get along,

and love one another,

Cause we are one in the same.
