Dropping like a stone into

a dark lightless night.

Rage starts to seep like an open wound.

A scarcity of life is,

but I have survived.

To say that I am lucky,

is to be but a wish.

Becuase I am broken,

into a thousand tiny bits.

For even though I

am college bound.

Without a hope to go,

I am stranded, aground.

So give me a chance,

to show my worth.

Let me be,

a little more like earth.

For I can see,

a future ahead.

But I will need many,

friends instead.
