One Special Item

I'm going on vacation

For a month or two

This ought to be so much fun

But I could only bring one

One thing or one person, but nothing more or less

Maybe I should bring my dad

He need some R&R

But he drives me way to crazy

Maybe I should bring some books

Reading is what I love to do

But eventually even that bores

So I've come to the final conclusion

That I'm not bringing nothing

Me, Myself and I

And lots and lots of quiet
