one summer night

I will never forget that day

where we first locked eyes and they filled with desire

where we were so quick to fall

but its been hard to get up.

I will never forget that night

where we first held hands under that bridge

where it felt so surreal

but i felt like i was drowning.

I will never forget that moment

where i took a deep breathe

pointed my toes the other way

and walked away.
