One Thing
There's nothing I can say
Only one thing I can do
I'm a flying bird with a broken wing
A monster inside tearing out from a saint
Laughter is the best medicine and I hope you overdose
I'm a skipping rock across a raging sea
The pain you feel is my love for you
When your body grows tired don't fall asleep
Remember I am waiting for you to fade
I'm the shadow following you
Your bad day
The thing under your bed
There's nothing I can say to make you see
The only thing I can manage to do right is hurt you
I don't make meaningless wishes anymore
My prayers are ignored because it's what's best
Luck is a penny glued tails up on a round table
My faith is on the wind in England now
My hopes are only for your disgust in your own life
