One thing I cannot live

One thing I cannot live without.

Well there are many things I cannot live without.

Oxygen.

Food.

A heartbeat.

But it is clear that you don't mean those things.

When I think about what I can't live without,

Nothing but a particular person comes to mind.

A person that I hold very near and dear to my heart.

They have been there through thick and thin.

I would even hold their hand when walking through flames.

And if I didn't I don't think I'd survive.

The sound of their voice soothes my nerves.

Looking into their caramel dripped eyes I feel confident.

It sounds crazy.

It sounds dumb.

But they have become my rock.

And if I were stranded on some island alone they would be the only person I'd want.
