The One Thing I Need

If you're asking me

About the one thing I need

If I were lost at sea

Oh what would that be?

Not food

Nor loot

Not a boot

Or a flute

Something so rare

Yet so fare

Something that cares

And does not flare

It is a boy

He brings me much joy

Especially when he pretends to be a pirate and says 'Ahoy!'

Yes, it is a boy

This boy is so special to me

If I were lost at sea

That is all I would need

That is what it would be
