the one thing I need

The one thing I need?

A question indeed,

without it I wouldn't be able to bleed

Our emotional passions are often ascribed

to that little red pumper that dwells deep inside

Without it my life would be quite dull and grey,

without it I wouldn't be living today,

We use it to love and we use it to feel,

its wounds are the type only time can heal,

We use its great power to make works of art

the one thing I need?

Well, It's my heart
