one thing i will never tell you

one thing i will never tell you:

it was always for you

every late night, every tear shed, everything.

you were never not on my mind

and it hurts

because the one thing i will never tell you is

im still in love with you.

but you were never the one for me.

you could never come out with me

the way i would come out with you

but the one thing i will never tell you is

i miss you.

miss the way you cared

miss the way you held me when i cried

miss the way you know i was breaking inside

but the one thing i will never tell you is

you were my best friend and it can never be like that again.

trying for it will be forcing it

one thing i will tell you is

your happiness is important,

whether im there or not

is not important

because one thing i will never tell you is

i do everything for you still.
