the one thing i would die without

music

any kind, anywhere, any time

the one constant that if it ceased to exist

as would i

humans are reliable, yes

to an extent

but when everyone is gone

a song can fill the silence of a broken heart

a song can force a smile so big it cannot be broken

a song can express the hurt felt by losing a loved one

music

if it ceased to exist, as would i.
