The One Thing I'd Be Nothing Without

When dark times come

I hum a familar tune to ease my nerves

My hands are shaking

I am breaking

I am on my knees ready to fade

Music enters my body and I am saved

When I feel I am a slave to my anxiety

I put on some music

and I am saved

Stay with me oh peaceful tune

Carry me in your arms until the tomb

I swear I loved music even in the womb

Without music my life would be

Doom

Gloom

My life would be emtpy and you would not see the same person

That person would be non existant

Without music I am non existant

Oh dear friend never leave

Sing me to sleep and tell me it's okay

because some of my days start off in color then turn to gray

I would be nothing without music

I am telling you this with all of my heart

Take away my music and you will be tearing me apart
