The One Thing Needed In Life

To get and to love the women I want, I must take action But for this, love and affection would be only a fraction She was a glory, and a shimmering star of hope Hope that is, of a life that was next to nothing For her past life was incomplete, and haunted With us, there was a certain something that was wanted For that nothing became a bond of two lives; entwined I gave her back the one thing that kept her going Neither belief nor love was the thing, it was simply life A life that had been gone for quite some time A life taken long ago by a tremendous burden She was grateful, but was still struck by this new life No one lived this long with what she unknowingly had The months past, and she became concerned with life Collapsed, she needed my strength to get her through it For the one; the one last time, until she was taken once more Taken by the darkness and daring to believe in life For life lead to death as death to life Lying next to her, I pray she hears the words I’ve spoken Caring her into eternal rest, I must take my one last breath For the angel of the darkness has brought us to our death
