One Thing Needful

If I were to be stranded On an island in the sea

There's only one thing that I'd need To take along with me.

It would not be fresh water Or food to nourish me,

No, I would bring my Bible To feed me spiritually.

And though my body perish, and I would cease to be,

My soul would surely flourish in heav'n eternally.
