One of Those Days

Wave of Elation Coming in and out; A pleasant plethora Flowing in The ocean, The river, The lake, Inside me. Though it be excess, Dripping out pores, This ecstasy, This madness Overwhelms The puddle of My mind. This pureness Runs cyclically through the spirits Of humanity and lives. I've no explanation for today; I suppose you could say, It's one of Those Days.

I woke up one morning and was overwhelmed with the thought, "Today will be a good day." And it was. The day was fantastic, nothing particularly spectacular or unusual happened; it was just a good day. This poem is the product of that day.
