One of Today's Introverts

This wondrous wifi allowing access

To every website, sans recess,

That allows my mind to disappear,

My thoughts, gone to places queer,

To answer what I can’t repress.

In it I come out to play; but when I was young

I’d murmur, demure, and to silence I clung,

Always so shy, but online I can speak without fear,

This wondrous wifi.

Go ahead, take my tongue!

With wifi I need it not, and in public I’m too tightly strung,

So my actions may seem a bit severe,

But in modern interactions, is anyone sincere?

I may be quiet of voice, but with wifi I’m not unsung.

This wondrous wifi.
