One True Love

So, he buys you flowers

and she goes to your games

and he posts it on social media

then you receive a little fame.

He tells you he loves you,

Right?

But why?

Does the number of social media likes

truly make it all worth it?

Do you continue to push one another

to be the best you that you can be?

Is he there when you are at your lowest points?

Do you give up when things get tough?

Are you in a relationship just to be in one?

Do you even love yourself?

You must love yourself before you love anybody else,

that’s the key to it all.

The healthiest relationship you should have is with

Yourself.

With this as your advantage in life,

you’re un-stoppable, not able to be touched.

You won’t ever have to worry about someone loving you

because you love yourself.

Others will find this very intimidating

and try to dim your light,

perhaps it's because they don't love who THEY are.

But, if it ever comes between you and them

always, always pick yourself.

You can be your one, true love,

the one you've been waiting for your whole life.
