I lost myself trying to become the girl you wanted me to be but that girl was far from being me. I tried my best to make you happy even when it killed me. Because I love you I stayed even when I wanted so badly to let go. But because I love you, I learned my worth. I know that I should never let a guy take control of me again. I now know when it's a one sided love. Because I love myself I finally learned to let go. I now know how I should be treated. No guy is worth losing yourself over.
