One-Way Mirror

I am millions of miles away…

Watching past seeing,

Speaking past saying,

Laughing past feeling,

—While still standing here.

The one who you know,

that you don’t really know.

Who tells you all truths

But never the secrets.

Whose words get caught

between sealed lips;

But flutter and dance

from fingertips.

Who you fail to see

for the who that is me.

I am the one

who is

unspoken.
