The one who broke my heart

To the one who broke my heart,

The air was warm and full of joy that or so I thought

We seemed to be perfect but all we really just fought

You said you would always fight for me

But you let me flee

I did not want to leave you, it was not my intent

I guess you just were not hell-bent

The loved that seemed to strong

Was not there along

I lost a part of me that day

I do not care what you say

I fought to get you back

And you would just attack

But I finally realized

Maybe it was a blessing that was disguised

My heart may have broke that time

But now its at its prime

I hate you but I thank you

I thank you for how much I grew

Sincerely,

The one you will regret letting go
