The one who got away

Hey!
You!
Over there!!
I am talking to you.
Hi........
How are you?!
Ah, never mind....
I can make all the eye contact I want,
but nothing good ever comes out of it.
He, who, I, want
doesn't come over.
Maybe I should bend down and
show some cleavage?
Nevermind, I don't have enough guts to do that
besides I have too many stretch marks to show.
On a usually day,
The creep just gave me "the eye".
The loser just slid over his number with hearts decorated around it
The weirdo sent kisses my way
But him... he does...
nothing,
Dammit why can't the cute ones like me?
The normal ones?
The honest, fun, loving ones?
How can I get him to talk to me?
I'll just lick my lips and hope for the best
There,
eye contact,
lip action,
turn away
and do it all over again.

SuperWoman20

I am a Sophomore at Miami Dade College. I love the beautiful outdoors, baby animals are so adorable. And writing for me is a gateway to letting out my frustrations, joys and happiness in life. Granted, I'm not much of a poet I find this could be a great outlet for me. It's been a wonderful year and college experience. I hope and wish I learn more about the beautiful world around me.
