The One Who Pulled Me Through

There's too much in this lifetime

That I have yet to see

Through all the darkness and the tears,

You never let go of me.

You've taught me all I know today

And always held my hand

You brought me high up from the ground

And taught me to take a stand.

You're a picture perfect woman of strength,

You've always faced your fears.

Always will you fight back weakness,

You've done it for many years.

In the blindness of my hate,

You taught me how to love.

I see the beauty in the world,

I appreciate the sky above.

Without you my life is meanignless,

You built me to what I am today

You pulled me through the present struggle,

And brought back the glory of the yesterdays.

Through all the anguish and despair,

You fought with me by my side.

Through all the agony and distress,

You were threre for me when I cried.

You taught me the most important thing;

How to unconditionally love another

There's no one I adore more than you

And no better mentor than a Mother.
