To The One Who Rejected Me

I remember the first day that I met you.

I remember feeling like you were the one.

Could tell you were different from the others.

And yet

You’re just exactly the same!

The perfect girl, but still a heartbreaker!

They all told me that I shouldn’t have tried.

And I should have listened.

It’s like I don’t have a heart anymore,

Cause it’s shattered in p-i-e-c-e-s.

But honestly.

I’d rather live the pain than deal with you.

I wish I could go back to the day we first meet.

That day I fell for you & wished it never happened.

You never gave a damn about my feelings.

Cause if you did,

You’d have known that it felt like I was only the one putting in the effort.

Truly never once cared about me.

To you, I didn’t exist.

The worst part is that you’re a hypocrite, wow.

Told me you don’t want to date guys right now.

No, just not guys like me.

Cause after that night, you were into another.

Given the chance, we would have been happy together.

Now I see walking down the hallway,

Holding hands with him, all happy.

And all I know is, I say I’m over you.

But, inside, the shattered heart beats.

Painful. Torture. Regret.

Like a part of me died that night.

When she said “No.”
