The One Who Saves Me in Times of Need

Trials happen to everyone, including me

Imperfect, mistake maker, overly sensitive me

Who is there, that I can call?

Who is there, that I can trust?

Who will pull me back up when I fall?

God, the Almighty, and the Just

I sometimes feel like I’m alone

With nowhere to go, or no one to talk to

Who will be there when I moan?

Who will comfort me, and teach me what to do?

Who will pick me up, and carry me to the light?

God, who knows the way, and is always right

I know someone is there all the time

When I need them, they will come to me

But I also know that in due time

He will say, “Daughter, come to me.”

Who will I see at the end?

God, my Eternal Father, and Friend
