One Word Answer

If I were alone

Stuck to my fate

A girl without her home

I would surely want...

What to pick

What to choose

Well hmm give me a sec

I don't want to lose...

Funny how others can pointpoint

A word, an object

Without a second thought

But I am just not that simple

Answering this prompt

Feels like popping a pimple

What to pick

What to choose

Well hmm give me a sec

I don't want to lose...

If I pick an object

I'm materialistic

If I pick my family

I'm unrealistic

I need to survive

That's for sure

So people are out

Sorry guys I'm just not that pure

What to pick

What to choose

Well hmm give me a sec

I don't want to lose...

The best bet is an idea

A word, a code to follow...

Perseverence.
