One World

For decades man has strived to learn, what lies beyond earth's atmosphere. But to me it seems fitting that these endeavors adjourn, until man can first handle the world we have here. We want  to discover if there is life on other planets, while our own is still divided by wealth, by religion, and by race. When violence and greed  are the iron, and humans the magnet, we have no business exploring the reaches of space. If there is life abroad, why would they accept us; a people whose home is wrought with hate and with violence. With our visionary goals, are actions are not congruous. We must find unity  first, then we can seek transcendence. Because regardless of our scientific breakthroughs, the life we discover, whether we reach every goal, we will still share one planet, one worls and one home; So before seeking life on others, lets come together and make ours whole.
