OneRepublic, I Lived Take-Off

Hope if I was lost

You’d show me a way.

If times were tough

You’d say ‘It’ll be OK’
.

Hope if you called out

You’d call my name
.

Hope if everybody leaves,

You choose to stay
.

When the days gets to long,

You’d be there

To show me a way out.

And I hope

When that moment comes

I'll say

I’ve done it all

I took all of life’s throws,

And every single scar proves I lived

I’d run to you,

And I hope you’d wait for me.

If the sun goes down,

I hope you’d stay until came back up.

Because I’d stay through it all,

All your joy

And all your pain

But until your moment comes
I'll say

We did it all

We took all of life’s punches,

And every single scar proves we lived

But if the world gets to heavy,

And you can’t stand alone,

I want to stand by you,

Blow for blow,

Be the person you reach to,

The one you’d fall into.

So that you can say

I did it all,

I owned every second that this world could give

I saw so many places, the things that I did,

All these scars can prove I lived

All of these scars can prove,

I gave it all I had
