Only Child

Ariel you are the only one who has been there. A shoulder to cry on. Gave me reasons to belong. Someone to brush my hair. Someone to love me & care. To tell me what u should do. Between right & wrong you always knew. In the stars you were created. There you were formed & nestled. Together our lives settled. My life was cursed until you were born. Like a rose with a thorn. You are like my spiritual guide. For my heart & soul to confide. Your soul is pure & whole. Your mind is so refined. Your heart will never be torn apart. Your body is a sacred vessel. Your innocent & sweet. You don’t text or tweet. Your like the mom I never had. Sorry you never had a dad. Your talented and gifted. Admired & my heart you lifted.
