Only A Dream
Recalling the dream of him and I,
is only a fantasy,
floating in the sky.
He held me tightly,
keeping me close,
so we could sit together happily.
He then looked at me with a smile,
as he looked me in the eyes,
with our lips parted by less than a mile.
It was only a brief second,
with our surroundings shut out,
before the gap between us lessend.
One, two, three, four,
softly he kisses me saying,
"You're everything I hoped for."
I wish it was a memory,
yet it will only be a piece of imagery,
with the indiscernable mystery.
