Only He Can Hear

Everything in life seems repetitive That's why we're competitive We all feel the confidence Flowin' through our veins But we can't find the competence To make it without screwin' our brains All we think about is the money It's glued to us like honey Don't mind me if I think its funny That's just my personality But I'm bringing you to my reality I'm minutes from a fatality Or am I on the verge of immortality Soarin' with the angels way above the hood Not' talkin' about the substance That makes everyone feel so good All I work with is natural Cuz I like to keep my world factual But don't get me wrong, my view is casual If it pleases you to lose your mind I won't judge your bind But I just don't feel like that kind Tired of being the portal Between this world and the wannabe immortal Debt to the ceiling The best friend feeling But you're over here kneeling Prayin' to the skies That you never break those ties But only god can hear your cries It shames me to watch these kids overrun by weed Don't get me wrong, I have a want just not a need Increasing your knowledge? Only way to make it through college? Living life on the edge? Weed seems to be the wedge? Fuck outta here with all that chatter I'm on deck, your heads the ball, I'm the batter Don't worry I'm not trying to flatter Been there done my share Livin' life without a care But gets a time where you lose the urge to dare Because one day I'll have a girl to bare My first born child I want it to have some wild Just can't bare to see them have a stack piled Debt to the ceiling The best friend feeling But you're over here kneeling Prayin' to the skies that you never mess up those ties But only god can hear your cries I'm trying to relate While there's hella people tryna create A world that never existed Unless they were drunk and twisted The time has passed, and I missed it I overcame when the majority was vast Everyone tried so hard to make it last They always thought about the past I'm here to tell you whats next The light at the end of the tunnel I don't want to see you crumble Y'all are my boys, but you left me hangin' Except for red 'cause he's bangin' But I'll always be there... Because you weren't aware When I was alone in that cold, hard chair I was afraid of the time When all you thought about was the crime Couldn't scrape a dime to use No more food... It's physical abuse Debt to the ceiling The best friend feeling But You're over here kneeling Praying to the skies That you never mess up those ties But only god can hear your cries
