Only Human

Cast upon the Earth Dread like angels; plagued Are we Not, the Earth cannot bare The presence of many Whom bring about death Like gods, are we? Life dwindles, death ceases not In our image, gods we are Gods of imperfection Despair, we are in clamor For the heavens to open and deliver us From ourselves We are not gods Only human
