Only Human

Some see a baby in a manger, no room to call His own, but I see the promised One, born to take away our sins. He grew to be the Savior, whose love would set us free; the King of all the heavens, the Lamb of God. Some see a man who does miracles, but I see more than a miracle worker; I see the very Son of God. Some may just see gifts under the tree, but I see my eternal gift hung on a tree for you and me. They see only another human, another person, some may even see a criminal, nailed to a cross, paying for what he has done, saying, Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. Some may just think that Christmas is just another holiday to celebrate and enjoy this time of the year, but I see more than just celebrating another holiday; I see baby Jesus lying in a manger wrapped in swaddling cloths. I see Emmanuel, the reason why we celebrate this very season; I see the light of the world stepping down to lovingly and willingly take our place on the cross, giving us a life we didn't deserve, but out of love, mercy, and grace he gave, because that is the very heart of God. Some may think that Jesus is (and was) just another prophet who was coming along prophesying about the coming Messiah, but I see the King of kings, the Lord of Lords. I see the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I see the one, the only human who chose me before the foundation of the world. The one who knit me together in my mother's womb. Let us never forget the true reason for this Christmas season, and let us rejoice in the birth of Christ Jesus! To God be all the glory, all the honor, and praise as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!!

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!
