Only I In Love Remain

I reckon now that I’m insane

And I think you would so too.

It seems I still have love for you

That reason cannot explain.

Alas, though you did hurt me

I could not forget the pain

And now only I in love remain

With just my memory.

It seems I cannot abstain

From recalling our last kiss.

Foolish thing I know it is

To hope we’d love again.

Oh if only I could dismiss

These thoughts from my brain.

It seems just as the sinner Cain

I will always remember this:

That I cannot forget this pain;

That now, only I in love remain.
