Only Jesus

Job 21:15 

¹⁵ Who is the Almighty that we should serve Him?
What would we gain if we were to pray to Him?’

Only Jesus

So many are now suffering … as only God knows the difference

Many birds hit the ground and doesn't God know the count?

Strangely interwoven … pain and joy somehow

And God is aware of all of it … all the up’s and downs

Impossible to imagine … what God must see

Nothing escapes Him … not even a single thought

I can’t even remember … what I was thinking ten minutes ago

And my actions of yesterday … were somewhere lost in naught

What do I understand of God … not His Almightiness?

The all-knowing I can’t grasp and purity beyond my sphere

Holiness unknown to me and Glory beyond my dreams

His Greatness not understood and His Love to me is dear
