Only Me

How could it be only me,

That is forced to stand among these debris?

All of the wicked things I've done,

There is no way that I'm the only one.

I need deliverance from all of this,

I need a light within the darkness.

It feels like it is only me,

God save me please.

The bridges I've burned,

And people I've hurt,

Will this get better,

Before it gets worst?

I really need a sign,

To see where I stand,

I wish that I could go back,

To the place where I began.

Please...

Deliver me,

From my affliction,

And my sin,

And the darkest parts of me.

Please...

Give me grace,

To cover my pride,

And the beast inside,

And the things I never wanted,

Please...

Tell me that I am not alone,

That I am not the only one,

That this fight is being fought by only me!
