Only Me, That's What I'll Be

When I write it's for me to say whatever is on my mind

with whatever words I can find

I pour my feelings on the page

never keeping them caged

not caring what is said

my words, my head

my own real being

that is what you're seeing

no hiding, no faking

only me, that's what I'll be

my honesty and self-discovery
