The Only Memory I Cannot Live Without
The only memory I cannot live without is you
I could completely articulate every little detail of your beauty and aesthetic
You are but a figment of a metaphysical concept in my introspected imagination
But I found you.
You changed my perception of what is real and what is not
Still though, I feel like a fool
A fool who overthinks every little notion that revolves in front of me
You have me believing in something that you have not even thought of yet
And that is love.
Love is what runs us all
Without love, the memory of your superlative face is nothing but just another plastic doll
"Try it if it feels right" they tell me
but what feels right to me, leads me to wrong
a wrong direction that leads me to believe that love is just a four letter word
I still remember the way you looked at me
It is but a shine I had only seen in the most purest of people in the past
A past of my short lived life
A life where I struggle to grasp the concept of love
A love that will either haunt me or prosper into the most beautiful of orchids
"Try it if it feels right" they tell me
but what feels right to me, leads me to wrong
a wrong direction that leads me to believe that "love" is just a four letter word
that picking a lotus flower is more important than finding a withered rose
Should I chase it not knowing if you would pursuit for it as I would?
I am restricted.
Somehow though, the only memory I cannot live without is you.
