Only One

One is fire; one is ice,

One is sugar; one is spice.

Both are one,

Both are none.

One is quite; one is loud,

Both are on a cloud.

One is bright,

Can’t get you out of sight.

One is who hears,

Even to the tears.

One is true,

Even to you.

One is shining,

Maybe not even lying.

One is moving,

Or maybe just staying.

One is watching,

Maybe even wishing.

Both are together,

Both are forever.

One is dark; one is light,

One is color; one is white.

Both are love,

One is a lion; one is a dove.
