The Only One I need

If stranded on a desrted island,

I were given a choice,

I would chose to take my mom in an istant without any doubt.

Although we bump heads about as many times as we laugh ,

I do not know what I would do without my mom by my side.

She gives me the strength and the confidence to keep moving forward,

without a doubt in her mind that one day I will succeed.

She supports me when i'm down,

and helps put me back together when i'm falling apart.

Her kindness is unexplainable,

never once have I had a doubt that she truly cares.

She is a dependable source of comfort,

I know for a fact that when I look back she will be right behind me.

The support I get from her I cannot compare to any other,

which is easy to understand why the person I would choose to be stuck on a desrted island with,

would be the same person who brings out the best in me.
