Only Sadness

My voice is hoarse

From all the yelling,

I have no strength left

In me,

The clouds are shedding

Raindrops;

The sky is crying with me;

When will this end?

When will this end?

I want to feel my heartbeat again;

I want to finally be free

From all this horrible suffering,

From all this endless pain,

I want to finally have freedom,

To finally be happy again.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
