Only Thing That Needs Changing
Pud, pud, pud.
Basket- swish...
No one else is looking, thank god.
Pud, pud,pud.
Layup and run.
Please, please don't stare.
Pud, pud, pud.
Hold it, clean up.
Keep talking, they like you better anyway.
"I can hear that!"
But no one can hear me.
Doesn't matter that they're laughing.
Yes, yes it does.
Thud, thud, thud.
Steady your breathing.
It's too early for anyone to watch.
Thud, thud, thud.
Just six more houses.
You can really do this.
"I can do this!"
and I can hear me.
No one's gonna be laughing.
Not anymore.
20 pounds ago,
I was 20 pounds too ugly.
And one hair cut later,
two shopping trips poorer,
I am still not good enough.
Giving up,
is that an option?
"Quite caring,"
"not a big deal"
"who cares what they think?"
The only thing that really needs changing
is attitude.
