Only Time Will Tell

Thinking isn’t very hard for someone like me

Someone who can’t turn off their brain

When I try to think of certain things

My mind forfeits the game

I’m never sure what happens in my dreams

They always slip my mind

I manage to write them down sometimes

Those journals I can’t find

I want to see the future

But I can’t read the cards

My only way of knowing

Is to keep running by the yard
