Only When It Rains...

When it rains I am cleansed from the poisons of the world, the pollution, foul words, vicious deeds. When it rains I am renewed and baptized once more by the holy hand of nature. My soul is wiped clean of the dark shadows brought to me day after day in the world of melancholy. When it rains my dreams become dreams and nightmares no more. I am cleansed by the waters falling from pale grey black skies that look as I they are to eat the world. Rain is the ally in the fight of poison. When it rains the elixir of my happiness fills the hollowness, so deeply empty from hatred over time. When it rains the smell intoxicates every cell of my being. Addicted I inhale deeper growing more and more dependent on this soul act of nature. For without it I will surly lose any sanity that normal weather leaves. When it rains I am alive journeying through the water. This little element has been everywhere, as old as father time. One by one the drops, the endless pouring drops tell the story of the world in a hum we know as rain falling. The rain it hums to me the story of the world and of its people. Rain is timeless. Her stories are priceless or could it be that rain is priceless and her stories timeless? Either way she speaks to me. When it rains I am one with myself. So long ago disconnected by problems or events that drag away the purity of my freshly folded soul while I left it hanging out to dry, a mistake made time after time, as it dries picking up the dirt that once upon a while before was washed clear. When it rains I am cleansed of the poisons of the world, the pollution, foul words, viscous deeds. When it rains my dreams become dreams and nightmares no more.... Only when it rains...
