Only Wishing
Only Wishing
I once saw us and now I only see myself
You sometimes would tell me “To live to the fullest of our lives”
But you haven’t so should I?
I ask myself do I? or do I go to heaven with you?
Drinking makes me feel better but how about you? You told me not to, I don’t listen but don’t worry because all I hear is your voices in my head
I wish you were still here to help me
I onced practiced saying things to you until it was useless
Was it me? Sometimes I blame it on myself
My bad dreams are you and so are my good ones
I still pretend you're next to me on the streets
Are you still there?
Well then maybe I will be too
I always told you, “Everything is alright.” but is it?
What's the deal right? “What's wrong?” They would say to me.
I sometimes try to smell the tears from our old room reminding me of you
Is it a sin to be with you?
I hope this is just the end so I can be with you but it's only the beginning
Maybe one day I’ll know it's just a dream or should I know now?
Don’t worry, I’m not afraid
I’m only wishing for you
You used to fill the holes in my body with love but now their filled with with sorrow
No one ever tells you wishes come true but I still hope mine will
I hate this feeling of loneliness so I try to sleep and hope I dream of you
People say they care but they don’t
I never knew emptiness weighed the most
Sometimes everything means nothing when your not around
I’m the only one that wishes twice
Depression fills your heart with bad things but it doesn’t change you
I’m still wishing here so don’t worry, I’m almost there
I’ll always find a way
