only you

I don't want to change

I want my eyes to glow softly

like they do now

My skin to stay pale and smooth

until age wrinkles my organs to dust

I want to be able to remember my days

brain cells to be used for what they are meant for

through out all the years I live

worrying about your next fix is not in my plans for us

but us can change too.

I want only you

not the addiction

I want to look into your eyes

see the vibrant blue come out to sparkel again

to feel your lips moist and soft against my own

instead of staring at white foamy meth mouth

I want to tease the you I used to know with big words you didn't understand

now I only get the you that can't remember the words I say

you worry about it instead of us

your habit has taken you over

I have to let you go

I wanted only you

and ended up with the addiction

Puffing Pachyderm

Just lost; occasionally looking for an unclear something or overwhelmed nothing. Mostly distracted trying to chase the wind, an equally impossible task. Never prepared, it slips over and under all about the room never taking shape or forming thought. Scared to move past predictable, dreading the inevitable reoccurrence of the past. Personal torture undefined by tomorrows ideals or today's good fortune. Every nightmare rooted in yesterdays folly. Fear a weight to the heart spawned from multitudes of misinformed decisions. Roaming lost forever.
