Lord, without You, life would be meaningless

I'd spend my days feeling lost and confused

Without Your love and mercy, so selfless,

Aimlessly, I'd drift, in darkness consumed

Endlessly I would long, ne'er to find peace

I'd walk without purpose, live without hope

I'd never be satisfied, always empty,

For all comes from You, and from You alone

Out from the shadows, You, Lord, have brought me,

Out of the darkness, and into the light

You, my salvation, and You, Lord, my king,

Have saved me from the everlasting night

You alone, Lord, can satisfy my soul
