Onward

Pushing, dragging, feet on fire On through the dirt, On through the hoses, On through the heat. Words push us. Songs stir us. History fuels us. On through muddied, bloodied streets. "No more!" he says! No more hate! No more anger! No more blood! All of us, all as one, Marching on To something better! It's all been worth it! We can't let it stay this way, We have to make our own change, We have to march on for freedom. Freedom for our fathers, Freedom for our sons, Freedom for us! One day - One. Day. The hot sun will shine on our head, Shine on our lands, Shine on our children, Ours. Not theirs.
