Onward

People come and people go,

The winds will banner on,

For a reason seeked or a reason found.

Like the winds we must be like too;

The wind must continue to blow.

For a reason I never knew

All at once the rhythm haulted.

The air was at exhaust.

All of the leaves were at station,

They had nowhere to go.

"Onward, Onward, Onward my son"

Said a sound that existed indefinitely.

A voice that was not heard but felt.

A noise that promised truth but not fault.

A mission that required onward to go.
