Oops.

A pile of leaves appeared before my eyes I leapt, and there I found a pricker bush Fell into pain, not even being pushed As I mistook which scene was in my sight The ghost of loveliness did seem so real Mirage it was, so please explain to me How could I mistake--this mystery Expecting steak, I ate a putrid meal Daydreaming always got me through before But dreams to nightmares now have turned on me An angel's flight, or demon in a tree My mind can differentiate no more Ennui, my dearest friend whom I have shunned Come back to me! Oh lord, what have I done?
