Can I tell you my story

Will these words paint a picture

In your heart will you only see

The dark shadow that I used to be

As I sip my whisky

Eyes on the ground

This place is empty like me

Comfortable alone, no one around

Been hurt so many times

I stay locked up in here

Drowning in all that I can

Hurt, lust and fear

What’s the point, I’m still not sure

Feed on the drama

Pay no mind to the whore

Walk the line for a while

Do you even care anymore?

Were all built with fault

We all carry sin

The martyr inside us all

Knows what you’re thinking

If the clock keeps on ticking

He will keep you tripping

I can sum up my life

Love, hate and despair

Nothing lasts forever, because forever doesn’t care

What is too good to be true

Will always rip you into

Life will keep you guessing

What the hell am I supposed to do
