Open Eyes

I am the observant girl,

Who notices behaviors and attitudes and overlooked values.

The girl who has few friends,

Someone who chooses quality over quantity.

I am a food lover who likes to finish what’s on my plate,

And doesn’t take no for an answer.

I am unsure of what’s ahead but know that I’m in charge of where I’m going.

But fate plays a role too.

I am a believer of karma and all things good.

I enjoy reading books like no one else you have seen; they make me feel,

Like I’m on cloud 9.

They allow me to enter amazingly breathtaking worlds I could never have imagined.

I am so much more than what people see on the surface.

Long hair and dark eyes/ humble and compassionate.

In the end however, I am me.
